Diverse perspectives create more effective outcomes, yet can also cause misunderstanding, frustration, poor team performance, unintentional offense and lack of trust. This unit introduces Cultural Intelligence (CQ) – the ability to adapt, relate and work effectively with teams across cultures. In this unit students will develop an understanding of the key aspects of CQ by engaging with theoretical frameworks for interpreting differences in cultural behaviour in conjunction with developing skills which can help in responding appropriately and effectively to culturally diverse situations.
