This unit is designed to provide students with an insight into, and an appreciation of, many of the financial accounting reporting, disclosure and enforcement issues faced by global corporations in an international business environment. This unit provides you with an understanding of the unique financial accounting and reporting, taxation and corporate governance issues associated with global business operations including issues related to the political lobbying activities of both accounting standards and standard-setters.
