This is particularly important for students of biology and environmental science since environmental variability is an inherent element of the systems that they will need to understand. This unit builds on first year knowledge of the theory of science and the scientific method developed in first year. With field trips it provides real world experience in problem assessment, formulation of testable hypotheses, and experimental design. These critical skills are used and further developed in later units.","title-full":"BVB202 Experimental Design and Quantitative Methods","title-short":"Experimental Design and Quantitative Methods","url":{"current":"https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/student/enrolment/units/unit?unitCode=BVB202&year=2025","prospective":"https://www.qut.edu.au/study/unit?unitCode=BVB202","timetable":"https://qutvirtual3.qut.edu.au/qvpublic/ttab_unit_search_p.process_teach_period_search?p_unit_cd=BVB202"},"year":2025,"years":[2024,2025]}
