In this unit the principles that govern the macroscopic behaviour of solids, liquids and gases, the fundamental physical properties which determine the extent of reaction and the speed with which reactions occur will be explained using significant practical contexts. These include dynamic electrochemistry, catalysis, and polymeric systems, which each play a very important role in the world around us. This unit expands on concepts and chemical principles introduced in CVB203 Physical Chemistry, applied to topics relevant to industry, technology and advanced manufacturing, as well as significant research advances.","title-full":"CVB302 Applied Physical Chemistry","title-short":"Applied Physical Chemistry","url":{"current":"https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/student/enrolment/units/unit?unitCode=CVB302&year=2025","prospective":"https://www.qut.edu.au/study/unit?unitCode=CVB302","timetable":"https://qutvirtual3.qut.edu.au/qvpublic/ttab_unit_search_p.process_teach_period_search?p_unit_cd=CVB302"},"year":2025,"years":[2024,2025]}
