DYN906 Design Research and Methods

This unit provides a comprehensive exploration of research methodologies critical for strategic design practices. It provides an overview of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups, along with the ethical considerations of human research. Through hands-on experiences, students will be introduced to participatory design research and learn how to facilitate design workshops as data collection methods.
