This process engineering unit uses advanced concepts of chemistry, design, economics and physics in a real engineering context. You will develop the ability to recognise and apply methods to design plant to solve real world problems utilising chemical, thermodynamic, fluids and kinetics with subsequent evaluation of the techno economics, sustainability and environmental impacts. You will undertake site visits and laboratory working in groups to plan, design and evaluate plant design. You will use this to demonstrate the culmination of knowledge and appreciation across a number of technical areas.","title-full":"EGH463 Process Design","title-short":"Process Design","url":{"current":"https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/student/enrolment/units/unit?unitCode=EGH463&year=2025","prospective":"https://www.qut.edu.au/study/unit?unitCode=EGH463","timetable":"https://qutvirtual3.qut.edu.au/qvpublic/ttab_unit_search_p.process_teach_period_search?p_unit_cd=EGH463"},"year":2025,"years":[2025]}
