In this unit you will survey applications of digital technologies and platforms for dance training and sharing embodied practice with others. You will appraise the combination of technology and methodologies for teaching and/or sharing of embodied/dance knowledge from a diverse range of applications. In the studio you will explore the neuroscience of learning to dance and apply knowledge from neuroscience to develop your own methodologies for sharing your dance/embodied knowledge via a self-identified digital platform. By participating in a series of studio-based movement workshops where theory and practice are intertwined, you will discover how approaches from neuroscience assist in learning to dance, and how dance and embodied practices enable you to find alternate ways of thinking through your body, and modes for sharing this with others.","title-full":"KDB219 Sharing Dance","title-short":"Sharing Dance","url":{"current":"https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/student/enrolment/units/unit?unitCode=KDB219&year=2026","prospective":"https://www.qut.edu.au/study/unit?unitCode=KDB219","timetable":"https://qutvirtual3.qut.edu.au/qvpublic/ttab_unit_search_p.process_teach_period_search?p_unit_cd=KDB219"},"year":2026,"years":[2026]}
