It enables you to identify an individual specialisation and demonstrate your musical skills through the creation of new works. You will situate your practice within a well-defined artistic and professional field and realise musical outcomes through engagement in authentic learning and assessment activities. Professional musicians must develop a critical understanding of the relationship between their music making, its artistic contexts and audiences. This unit draws on the practical skills gained in the previous two Music Creation units, advancing on the development of more focused areas of musical expertise and specialisation. As the third of four units, the unit provides you with an opportunity to envision and realise a deep engagement with specific areas of creative practice.","title-full":"KMB317 Music Creation 3","title-short":"Music Creation 3","url":{"current":"https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/student/enrolment/units/unit?unitCode=KMB317&year=2025","prospective":"https://www.qut.edu.au/study/unit?unitCode=KMB317","timetable":"https://qutvirtual3.qut.edu.au/qvpublic/ttab_unit_search_p.process_teach_period_search?p_unit_cd=KMB317"},"year":2025,"years":[2025]}
