The notion of “text” is understood as potentially covering a broad range of artefacts and creative stimulus, from classical scripts to inter-disciplinary creative artefacts and even inanimate chosen objects. This unit enables you to develop and apply skills of theatrical interpretation and performance through practice-led process methodologies grounded in theories of dramatic interpretation, rehearsal, and performance. You will work with your peers to critically engage with the interpretation of a source text, before being provided the opportunity to develop a performance of the text and implement the core performing skills needed for this.","title-full":"KTB114 Interpreting Dramatic Text","title-short":"Interpreting Dramatic Text","url":{"current":"https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/student/enrolment/units/unit?unitCode=KTB114&year=2025","prospective":"https://www.qut.edu.au/study/unit?unitCode=KTB114","timetable":"https://qutvirtual3.qut.edu.au/qvpublic/ttab_unit_search_p.process_teach_period_search?p_unit_cd=KTB114"},"year":2025,"years":[2025]}
