Within the workplace (a minimum of 120 hours [equivalent to 3 weeks full-time] and maximum of 240 hours [equivalent to 6 weeks full-time]) you will apply knowledge and skills developed during your course of study. Practising workplace related skills such as team work, ethical behaviour, safe workplace practices and reflective practice as well as building on your industry networks will support you in your transition to professional practice. Your placement should be relevant to your course of study and must be approved by the course co-ordinator and the unit co-ordinator before you commence. Acceptance into this unit will be based on successful completion of prerequisites, the completion of a number of workplace requirements, and the availability of placement supervisors.
