Also the focus is on integrating knowledge, skills and attributes required to successfully integrate theory with clinical practice. The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) Registered Nurse Standards for Practice emphasised in this unit are: thinks critically and analyses nursing practice (ST1); comprehensively conducts assessments (ST4); develops a plan for nursing practice (ST5); provides safe, appropriate, and responsive quality nursing practice (ST6); and evaluates outcomes to inform nursing practice (ST7).
