At all levels of the health system, individuals, teams, divisions, organisations, boards and policy makers are expected to contribute to the maintenance of health care quality and safety standards and to participate in the quality improvement of services provided. The aim of this unit is to develop appropriate knowledge and skills to lead the implementation of effective quality and patient safety programs within a health care setting.
