Why choose this course?

This course will provide you with the knowledge, job-ready skills, and practical work experience needed to excel in the property and urban planning industries. Drive urban transformation by becoming an expert in property economics and gain the skills needed to plan and design improvements for urban and regional spaces.

Throughout your studies, you will be exposed to a range of concepts essential to determining, developing, and managing the built environment. By delving into disciplines such as building, construction management, planning, business, and property economics, you will understand how these areas work together to achieve a balanced, cost-effective, and sustainable built environment.

You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the property industry, covering key topics such as investment, asset management, development, valuation, and research, with an emphasis on finance and the commercial property market sector.

You will build skills in site planning, stakeholder engagement, transport planning and planning law, as well as engaging in units from your selected second major or set of minors. From there, you’ll have the opportunity to refine your understanding of urban design and property development, and use your cumulative knowledge to undertake environmental planning activities.
