Real-world planning
'QUT has been crucial to not only my academic success, but also to fast tracking my career. Having worked in industry for three years now, my roles have come directly from tutors, lecturers and industry connections fostered through QUT. My professional network has flourished through QUT-supported industry events and award ceremonies with PIA (Planning Institute of Australia). As a student urban designer, I’ve had the opportunity to work on amazing urban spaces, including the city-shaping Victoria Park Masterplan.'
Real-world learning
The teaching staff at QUT embody real-world learning. They all bring a wealth of industry experience to the classroom and provide real-world examples of the theory they teach. Their ability to relate theory to practical, real-world examples has been incredibly beneficial and has given me a deeper understanding of the content I am learning.
