If you have a passion for mathematics and a keen interest in data science, this course was designed for you. 

During your studies, you will acquire critical thinking abilities, develop your problem-solving skills, and learn how to process, analyse and visualise complex data sets effectively using data analytics tools and techniques.

Mathematics component

To make a difference as a mathematician, you must combine theory and modern practical skills. We focus on equipping you with both at QUT. You’ll learn by doing - through computer labs, practicals and workshops - and develop those skills alongside your peers in collaborative learning classes. We focus on authentic assessments that reflect what a mathematician does in the real world. 100% of our maths graduates complete an industry-driven project in our work-integrated learning program.
