Immerse yourself in QUT’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. You’ll have access to QUT foundry co-working spaces, our entrepreneurs-in-residence, and current or past students who are running their own start-ups.
Upon the completion of your Diploma in Entrepreneurship, you will gain guaranteed entry into the second year of QUT’s Bachelor of Communication.
The QUT Bachelor of Communication enables you to harness the power of media and communication platforms for meaningful global impact across a range of professions and industries. A career in communication changes the world.
Starting in the Diploma in Entrepreneurship, you will be introduced to entrepreneurial thinking and develop the tools to problem solve and develop innovative solutions. There is also a strong focus on the development of academic skills required at university, preparing you for successful study.
Once you have completed your diploma, you will build upon your knowledge by specialising in an area of business by choosing one of 12 majors.
All units adopt a blended approach to learning. On-campus classes are supported by online activities, helping you to become an independent learner. You’ll benefit from additional contact hours with experienced QUT educators in smaller class sizes allowing a more personalised learning experience.

You must complete 96 credit points to meet the course requirements for the creative industries pathway. Once you have successfully completed the diploma, you will be automatically offered a place in the Bachelor of Communication. Your diploma units will be credited into your degree.
The Bachelor of Communication structure consists of 288 credit points with:
Upon completion of the Diploma in Entrepreneurship, you will complete the remaining 192 credit points of the Bachelor of Communication. As part of this course, you must choose a major.
