Explore this course
Starting in the Diploma in Entrepreneurship, you will be introduced to entrepreneurial thinking and develop the tools to problem solve and develop innovative solutions. There is also a strong focus on the development of academic skills required at university, preparing you for successful study.
Once you have completed your diploma, you will build upon your knowledge by specialising in an area of business by choosing one of 12 majors.
All units adopt a blended approach to learning. On-campus classes are supported by online activities, helping you to become an independent learner. You’ll benefit from additional contact hours with experienced QUT educators in smaller class sizes allowing a more personalised learning experience.

You must complete 96 credit points to meet the course requirements for the Creative Industries pathway. Once you have successfully completed the diploma, you will be automatically offered a place in the Bachelor of Creative Industries. Your diploma units will be credited into your degree.
Bachelor of Creative Industries
The Bachelor of Creative Industries structure consists of 288 credit points with:
- Creative Industries major units (72 credit points),
- Creative Industries introductory units (24 credit points)
- a primary major (96 credit points); and
- complementary studies (96 credit points).
Upon completion of the Diploma in Entrepreneurship, you will complete the remaining 192 credit points of the Bachelor of Creative Industries. As part of this course, you must choose a major.

Before you start this course, we assume you have sound knowledge of the subject/s listed below. If you don't have the subject knowledge, you can still apply for the course but we strongly encourage you to undertake bridging studies to gain the knowledge:
