A pathway to successful studies
'I chose to study English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at QUT College to improve my academic writing skills for successful studies in my Master of Information Technology degree. QUT was recommended by a colleague at work who has previously graduated from QUT. My favourite parts of the EAP course are being able to conduct academic research and develop my productive and receptive skills.'
Develop academic English language skills
'I chose English for Academic Purposes at QUT College because I recognised the importance of improving my English language skills before pursuing my Master of Business degree at QUT. My favourite parts of the English for Academic Purposes program were the speaking and listening activities. QUT has equipped me with the important skills for success in my future academic pursuits at the university.'
Improve your confidence
'I decided to study English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at QUT because I wanted to improve my English skills. I also received a concession on my fees from QUT which really helped me financially and relieved the pressure. The EAP program has really improved my English and I feel more confident. The teachers are very helpful and friendly, and provide great advice when you need it.'
