Students who achieve a grade point average of 4.5 (on QUT’s 7-point scale) can seamlessly transition into the Executive MBA, enabling them to earn two qualifications in the time it typically takes to complete one.
As part of this certificate, you’ll also study alongside Executive MBA students from the start, completing the same subjects, engaging with the same content, and undertaking the same assessments. This ensures a consistent learning experience with your Executive MBA peers, with no additional study or costs required. By starting with the Executive Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, you’ll be set on the same academic path, ensuring a seamless transition and completion of the full Executive MBA within 2 years.

Entry requirements
You must have a:
- recognised bachelor degree in any field with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.50 (on QUT's 7-point scale); plus
- minimum of five years full-time post degree work experience with a minimum of three years relevant professional work experience and two years minimum supervisory/management experience.
OR
- minimum of nine years full-time work experience with a minimum of six years relevant professional work experience and three years minimum supervisory/management experience.

Relevant work experience indicates an applicants capacity to contribute to workshop discussion and the wider student body. To enable us to assess your work experience, a current curriculum vitae providing details of your roles, responsibilities and achievements is required.

You may also be required to:
- attend an interview with the MBA Director or nominee.
Pathway
Upon completion of the Executive Graduate Certificate in Business Administration with a GPA 4.50 (or higher) you can articulate into the Executive Master of Business Administration.
