The Graduate Certificate in Bioprocess Engineering is a postgraduate degree consisting of 48 credit points and is normally completed in one year of part-time study.
To study the Graduate Certificate Bioprocess Engineering, you must have a recognised Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Chemical and Sustainable Process). You must also have three or more years of relevant industry experience in the field of bioprocess engineering.
To broaden your career options, upgrade your Graduate Certificate to a Master of Engineering Technology (Bioprocess Engineering) by completing one additional semester of full-time study.

- A recognised completed four-year full-time (or equivalent) degree in a relevant discipline plus at least 3.00 years full-time (or equivalent) of professional experience in manufacturing; or
- A recognised completed three-year full-time (or equivalent) degree in a relevant discipline plus at least 5.00 years full-time (or equivalent) of professional experience in manufacturing.
