Why choose this course?

Cities worldwide are facing major changes in their transportation systems with emerging technologies such as autonomous vehicles, on-demand urban transportation systems, sustainable urban mobility, and more.

Australia's commitment to invest $120 billion into the infrastructure pipeline over the next 10 years is already showing rapid increase in demand for engineers who can create resilient infrastructure and liveable cities (Ministers for the Department of Infrastructure, 2023-24).

QUT’s Graduate Certificate in Smart Transport and Mobility provides you with the key knowledge and skills required to understand and apply smart technology for operating a data-rich urban environment.

As part of your course, you will complete an industry-based research project where you will work directly with transport employers to analyse a challenge and provide smart, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible solutions.
