What to expect

In the Master of Artificial Intelligence, you will engage in a variety of authentic and work-integrated learning, including the completion of a significant industry project or industry research experience that allows you to apply your knowledge and skills within an agile environment.  

You will kick off your studies with programming fundamentals, mastering essential coding skills before leaping into rapid web development with databases. You will learn to protect vital systems from vulnerabilities and creatively solve complex problems through systems innovation and design.

Course articulation

QUT offers an pathway for international students who want to study a Master of Artificial Intelligence. The Graduate Certificate in Communication for Information Technology (IN17) is designed to help students acquire postgraduate level knowledge and skill in a specialist information technology discipline, while developing competency in English language and academic literacy. Upon successful completion of IN17, students are eligible for one semester of advanced standing towards the Master of Artificial Intelligence (see course description for details).

You must have a recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in any discipline with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.00 (on QUT's 7 point scale).

1.5 year program

You must have one of:
